Mini to cancel three unpopular models

Mini Cuts Three Models

According to Automotive News Europe, Mini will be canceling the unpopular Paceman, Coupe, and Roadster versions of their cars.

Instead, the Mini is sticking with three of their most popular models:

  • 2014 Mini Cooper hardtop
  • A newer version of the 5-door Countryman
  • A forth-coming (possibly 2015) version of the Clubman based on a 6-door concept vehicle shown at Geneva

Honestly, most people aren’t surprised by the Paceman, but seeing two other models canceled caught some off-guard. More info available at Automobile Magazine.

What do you think?

Was this a smart move for Mini, or could this harm the Mini brand?
